About Space Invaders
Inspired by the legendary Space Invaders, this game recalls the arcade era. In this free online version, you control a lone ship against a fleet of pixelated neon aliens, right in your browser and with no sign-up required.
The fewer enemies remain, the faster they move, creating growing tension with every wave. Aliens in the top rows are worth more points, and enemy shots mean you need to keep moving.
Tip: clear the outermost columns first to give the fleet more time to reach the edges and descend. Firing at a steady pace instead of mashing the button earns more hits. Your high score is saved in your browser.
