How to play Neon Asteroids
- Click Start. Use ← and → or A/D to turn your ship, and ↑ or W to thrust.
- Hold Space to shoot; on mobile, hold the buttons below the arena.
- Large asteroids split into two smaller ones. Destroy them all to advance to the next wave.
- You have 3 lives and a temporary shield after each collision. Press P to pause.
About Neon Asteroids
Neon Asteroids is a spaceship game inspired by classic arcade games. Play online for free, with no sign-up, in a pixelated ship, against asteroids designed especially for the game, and accompanied by retro sound effects.
Turn your ship, accelerate, and fire to clear a path through the rocks. The arena wraps around at the edges: leave on one side and your ship reappears on the opposite side. Larger asteroids split apart, and each new wave brings greater danger.
Tip: use short bursts of thrust to stay in control, and turn while shooting. Small rocks are worth more points, but require precision. Play on a computer with a keyboard or on a phone using the on-screen buttons.
