Minesweeper is the logic puzzle that has accompanied generations of computer users. The goal is to reveal every safe square on a board without clicking a mine, using the numbers as clues to how many bombs are in neighboring squares.

Tip: start at the corners and edges, where there are fewer neighbors and deductions are simpler. When a number is already surrounded by the correct number of flags, every other square around it is safe—this pattern solves much of the board.
